It's the homestretch... only not really

Just passed 45k words on my nanowrimo project.

Unfortunately, it's really only about the halfway point in the actual story, so what's really going to happen is I'm going to hit 50k, the month will end, and I'll get frustrated and never write any further, leaving about 120 pages and 52 or 53k words or so untouched and unread. Whee!

I still won't have actually successfully written a novel(la), just 50k words.

I don't have the second half outlined pretty much at all.

Hey, maybe I'll finish it next year...

The one time I completed Nanowrimo was like that. The story was about half done just past 50k.

But December is national edit your novel month, so maybe that will let you complete it.
