ARGH AM SO BORED.
It's not even 7:30, I have to stay 'til 11, and I've already basically done
everything I've been given to do for the night. Unless there's a disaster, I
just sit here now, and try to kill time.
I mean, some backups are still running and when they're done I check the log
files, but otherwise? Yeah.
What I need to do is get a mini-drive and e-books. Or something.
Edit: Someone discourage me from buying a 300 dollar MP3 player (because, really, if I'm going to plunk down a bunch of cash on a drive, I might as well get an MP3 player at the same time, because I'm totally going to want it eventually) until...
...well, wait. I have a job. My credit cards are paid off. My rent is paid. My loans are either current or ahead. Yeah, but I should be saving, not buying every gadget.
But still, it's not like I'm a big splurchaser. A portable drive and an MP3 player are both things I want and have wanted, not ongoing expenses. So while I could get a cheap portable hdd of the mini style for a hundred or so, I can get it AND the MP3 player for a not unreasonable price.
But as long as I'm at it, should I look into getting a portable MP3 player which is more than just a MP3 player and drive?
Maybe I should be looking into a handheld computer. Dunno.
Thoughts, people?
