Why I dislike UPS:
Early this month, I placed a large order at Amazon, for Books and stuff. Ordered Super Saver Shipping, of course, because I am cheap.
They decided to split the order into three parts, probably because they were coming from different parts of the country.
Two shipped the 6th. One went USPS, one went UPS. We really shouldn't count the first one, because from all I can tell, it shipped from the Seattle region. Anyhow, I got it the next day.
The third shipped the 9th (which was the scheduled shipdate for Super Saver Shipping, so yes, I had the first part of my order before it was even supposed to ship; Amazon gets cookies from me). It ALSO shipped USPS.
Here's the kicker. The UPS package shipped three days earlier, from Tennessee. The second USPS package shipped the 9th, from Kentucky - so same general region of the country.
I got the USPS package yesterday.
The last info the UPS tracking site has says my package was somewhere in Illinois.
