It might! See, it's Telstra, that is to say, 'incompetent government semi-monopoly'. The main competitor is owned by the Singapore government, tangentially (government investment corporation owns it fully, though it's run as a private corp), which is generally understood to be more competent.

...or maybe not, apparently my mother knows someone who knows the CEO, and the CEO's taken an interest in this (remember the beginning of the year? he wasn't too happy that a simple problem took three weeks to fix).
