Phoenix Maiden directs the darting motions of her golden spear with clipped precision as she draws back swiftly, reclaiming space for her longer weapon, and then, with one swift step towards her enemy, jabs and thrusts and stabs again. Like a rain of golden darts or beautiful and deadly blade-winged birds, the sharp point of the dire lance flies through the afternoon sun and the flaring light of her ignited anima, looking to exploit weak spots in the white jade facade - or to create them; what does a Dragon-Blooded know of durability in the face of a Zenith? What does a spoiled Dynast know of purity, before one who has been bleached beneath the desert sun at its height?

Brian says "A burning inferno of solar flame travels along the line of Phoenix Maiden's Dire Lance and SLAMS into Mnemon Bauzaid with literally earth (and Earth) shattering force. The rock explodes away, deflecting the second and third strikes-- but the jade of the Most Resolute Armor of the Earth Dragon has long spiderwebs of cracks in it, the orichalcum tip having actually crushed through much of the magical material! Were it not for his Jewel of Stability, Bauzaid would have been sent flying; as it is, the force transfers into the cobbles beneath his feet, creating a huge shockwave of earth to either side of him, great ridges forced up by the passage."

Brian says "Seventurn."

Seven stares down into the eyes of the wise monk who is putting her life on the line to fight the wickedness of the creatures who have enslaved him. "Forgive me, Most Just and Sagacious Lady." His great spear comes down at her, one powerful, unfaltering movement. Even Seven, ancient brass and decorated on his breast with the sweeping symbols of his elemental temple as he is, seems to gleam in the sunlight, with the strength of the anathema's patron.

Midnight-With-Stars rears again, wheeling and screaming an angry neigh, and pounds his forelegs onto the ground before him to kick backwards into the Fire-Aspect's chest. He turns to face her even before she can hit the ground -- his legs churning, he bears down on the woman, intending to crush her beneath his mighty hoofsteps.

Aidan has scarcely landed from his previous leap before taking another, jumping quickly to the left before bouncing swiftly back to his right, all the while moving closer to the now-visible Child of Mela.

Midnight-With-Stars flattens his ears against his head as the chakram come whizzing through the air. He stomps his front legs hard onto the cobblestone and brays as he kicks his rear legs up behind him, neck bent downwards and to the right so that his great black eye can gage kicking the chakram out of the air moments before it can hit Diamond.

Brian says "Although Aidan's reflexes do not allow him to pass away from the spinning chakram blades, he is able to stop all five in their tracks by striking them perfectly-- their edges broken by the slash of his razor claws. Seven steps easily out of the way, but all Midnight can do is knock one of the further away from the Twilight. But Diamond Borealis is protected by greater things than even mere flesh, and the slicing chakram, while cutting deep into his bronze frame, fail to slay him as Austara desires. Speaking of whom, all of you but Kanfi see her rushing over to Deled's side."

Liu shifts her grip on Orichalcum-edged blades, reflecting the afternoon's sunlight into her foe's eyes. She throws herself into a diving somersault, arcing through the air with all of her momentum focused into the gleaming edges of her sword-tips. She curls her waist and legs up behind her, so that as the blades find purchase, she will continue the flip over and around the Terrestrial's body, dragging the blades with her through the Fire-blooded's chest and whipping her around with the blades as a fulcrum to impale the two throwing-knives drawn from her belt by her toes into his back. ((four actions + DSSx4 - using the knives to augment her Melee attacks; the damage is still coming from her Swords ripping through))

She is lifted by the fiery dragons penetrating her anima, pulled bodily out of the way of most of Liu's slicing, twisting -assault-. But not all, for this Night is a cunning swordswoman and as Uradhi seeks to avoid the reaping motions she is caught by an unexpected stab!"

Brian says "Kanfiturn, then we pause until next week, Stage 2 -not- happening yet; it might not happen at all."

Kanfi shifts his grip on Silken Strike, eyes narrowing. How she moves, how she stands, he scrutinizes her for weaknesses he can exploit. It's easy to see where she'll hurt worst-- an archer is no archer is at all without use of her hands. He grins, and calls out, "I thought you were after me, pretty girl. How about after the battle I buy you a drink?" After. Because he sees his opening at that moment and lets his skycutter fly, straight and true.

It happened on the other strike tag in the first section too, only I caught that one. I rather suspect some of my macros are broken, since in both cases it just at the / from the closing tag.

Brian decided to take pity on me, and he's going to allow me to take the action that I should have had for that round, since I really shouldn't have needed to default to a parry, that was just stupid.
