Still alive

leticiaYada, yada.
Apparently missed my Obligatory Birthday Post (for several years running), but none the less the birthday came and went.
It was a very hard birthday. Those that I've been speaking to in the last oh however long know that I miscarried a very much desired pregnancy actually on my birthday in 2017. Coming up on 2018, it was pretty much my sole preoccupation, especially as we haven't gotten pregnant again yet.
I left the paper back in January, long overdue, and am now making very close to twice what I was. Finally a real tech job. It's going great so far.
I'm just looking at my reading page and realizing how few of my friends from the old days have moved to Dreamwidth with intact connections. Kind of sad, but then, I've been a terrible correspondent, so it's mostly my own fault, and where it's not, it's just life.
Hope everyone who's still out there is doing well.
