I've been planning to rebuild my interface with Wrath anyhow, but I think I might do it at 3.0 since half my stuff's going to break.

I've been using cosmos, which is a decent compilation, but has a lot more things than I need, and I'd like to get a leaner interface. Also, as a whole, Cosmos is no longer updated.

I need some suggestions for some addons - like raid frames; I've been using healbot/decursive combined, but I understand there are limitations to the utility of healbot. And I'm finally contemplating stepping into the world of bar-mods.

I need a flexible addon set - my two main characters are an enhancement shaman who dabbles in resto and a protadin.

And my primary qualification for my interface: It has to be something I can function without. Oh, I heal much better with healbot and my 5 button mouse, but I've got all the the buttons on my bars and CAN function alone.

As you can see, my addon folder is out of control right now.

1) Auctioneer. I'm fully planning to dump and rebuild my price database with the advent of wrath altering the economy, but I need a tool for it, and if there's anything better than auctioneer out there, I've never heard of it.

2) DPS meter. I've been using (and pleased with) recap. It seems fairly accurate, and powerful enough for my tastes.

3) Heads up display - I'm looking for something simple and lightweight that shows me when someone in my party/raid has entered combat and current health/mana. Status notifications are nice. I've been using ...I think it's 'combatstats' which is part of the full Cosmos package. I don't know if it will be supported any more.

4) Bar mods. I've been using Simple Action Sets to keep separate bar sets for enhance, PvP, and heal setups. This has been more than sufficient, but... 3.0 is going to add more spells to my rotation even at level 70, and I want to be able to get all my bars visible. There's also no guarantee that SAS will actually still /work/ in 3.0, and it's definitely no longer supported by anyone.
I still want to put my buttons into the 'default' bars so they're stored serverside and I don't become non-functional if I have to delete my interface or wtf. I understand most bar mods do so. However, I have no idea what's my current best option there.
I'm also thinking about supplementing whatever bar mods I use with OPie for my totems on my shammie.

5) Threat meter. I've been using Omen, of course. I can't see this changing. I know there's a built in threat meter in at least Wrath, maybe 3.0 pre-WotLK, but I've also been told it's very coarse and addons are still needed to know how to ride the edge between 'die and wipe the raid' and 'dps inadequately and wipe the raid'.

6) Raid frames/healbot/healbot replacement. Healbot's what my bf (holy priest main, holy paladin former main, loves him some healing) started using and so I've been using it. If I change from healbot, I should talk him into changing too, so our addons still communicate incoming heals. We both also use decursive for cleanses.

7) Chatedit. Copy paste text from the chat window to whatever. Very handy at times. I never realized this was an addon (from cosmos) until I disabled all addons for some reason and went crazy without it.

8) In similar vein, some form of timestamp for chat. Did I miss that request to group by 30 seconds or half an hour?

9) Inventory management. The outfit manager I've been using is again a part of cosmos. I think it's actually called 'wardrobe' but I'm not sure. What are people's favorites?

10) character/guild profiler - for updating the guild site, using WowRoster. I hope both of these will be supported right on through.

11) Boss mods. I'm using Bigwigs, as are our main tanks, but half my guild is using DBM. I'm not sure which is better.

12) SilverDragon for rare hunting. Not that it's that awesome or necessary, but it's fun when leveling characters to get an alert so I don't just mouse past that unique killing experience.

13) Gatherer. 'Nuff said there.

14) Maps/Coords. I've been using AlphaMaps. Again, comes with cosmos. I'm not overly attached to it, though, and more things seem to interact with Cartographer. Is it worth switching?

15) Quest panel reworking. OMG, the default quest panel is HORRIBLE. I use cosmos's partyquest, which uses the telepathy library to communicate with other party members and get full data about quests. See "Cosmos is no longer being supported" and I'm really not sure where to turn for a nice quest panel makeover.

16) MobInfo. Because we likes us the data, we does.
My big problem with mobinfo, though, is that it persists in listing all <1% world drops. When I've killed several thousand of a given type of mob in my farming expeditions, I pick up a few world drops. I don't want to see them all listed in a tool-tip breaking box.

17) RP helper of some kind. I roll on Moon Guard a little.

18) Enhancer or ShockandAwe for Enhance specific help. I've been using enhancer for the windfury cooldown count for Storm Strike. ShockandAwe looks like it does a whole lot more, but doesn't have the convenient 'remember your totems' buttons. (Does it? I haven't seen it in a list of features.) So I think I'm switching.

19) EasyMail. Came with cosmos, but I think it will be independently supported. I don't know of an indepdent download site for it. Makes mail management so much more convenient.

20) Equivalence Points - something simple to rate new gear against a customizable EP table. The one I've been using, actually CALLED EquivalencePoints is split off from Enhancer, and a little cumbersome to use - /equivalencepoints config to get into the interface to set up the values.

21) TrinketMenu - queue on-use trinkets. Might be part of an outfit type app. If not, trinketmenu is a very nice little standalone addon.

22) Keybind macros. I know I've heard of addons that do this, without needing a button for them.

I'm probably missing some other obvious ones, but.
