Oh, Snap!

These gawdawful stupid snap things are going to make me plain and simple block their servers via Opera. No, they can't put a permanent cookie on my computer. Only people I do business with get that privilege. No, I don't want to see these freaking stupid popups when I mouseover something. And apparently, the 'don't display' is only for my journal, not the journals of other people who don't have it turned off.

So I can either write some quick userjs to strip it out or just block their server and their js scripts.

I believe archangelbeth's post linked to one that said how to get them to not display at all via Opera, without taking cookies from the company.

And, yes, I hate them too.

That's kind of what I was talking about. Opera has very nice ad-blocking built in.
