Phones and stuff

I am /considering/ getting a cellphone. Of my own. What it will cost me and
what features I can get for what it will cost me will make that decision for
me.

And, because I'm lazy and all the phone companies want you to basically make a
commitment before they'll tell you what all you can get, I'm going to ask LJ!
Yay harnessing the power of other people's effort.

I care a lot less about talk minutes, actually, than I do data
transfer/messaging. I'd /like/ to be able to use a web enabled phone with
Opera Mini and AIM Mobile, pretty much freely.

So does any of the companies have an unlimited messaging plan? I've seen
unlimited data transfer plans, but most of them don't seem to include
messaging, and at 10 cents per, which seems to be industry standard if you
haven't got a Special Plan, I could eat a lot of money in a hurry. ^^

(Also, are there any of the companies you'd recommend absolutely staying away
from, they're baby-killing bad?)

Family Circle is canceled for this weekend, thank you Brian for the plentiful advance notice, and it's probably canceled next weekend because I'll have company - I could probably run anyhow, but it'd be 'rude' (if I'd known in advance, I'd have scheduled that for this weekend, but HEY, I DIDN'T), and if we haven't managed to get out of the tomb yet, it'll be canceled for Harle's con trip coming up here quickly, because I need Allen for that, but I'm not sure exactly which weekend that is, so can't tell you when.

You all have a good time.

(PS: I have to TALK to company and see if I can work out next week. So it might still happen.)

Pro to cordless keyboards: ability to move away from the desk.
Con to cordless keyboards: When you get pissed, you /can/ throw it across the room.

Also, effing LJ. If you can't get my computer's time right or even consistently wrong, stop effing caring whether it's timestamped before or after my last effing post, because it's your damn fault for filling in the wrong effing values.

The Deal on Family Circle: Unless we can for some reason run Sunday (and I'd want to start a bit earlier, 'cause Leti would need to be ready for work after), this weekend (the 12th) is canceled. Brian will be gone and I need Yasutora.
Next weekend (the 19th) is totally canceled - that's Harle's con. Which conveniently at least matches up with my "Must be gone."

So our current next session will be the 26th, unless someone vital (currently Allen, Yasutora, and Yoru because I can justify bringing either of the others in or leaving them out, but I can't really justify one of them walking off and leaving the other two alone in the tomb) can't make it
