In brief: Apparently, Microsoft has decided to limit Vista's ability to transfer to new computers to 'once' (and that's only for the retail version; the OEM version won't transfer at all.) I wonder how Microsoft defines a 'new computer'.
If I yank out my hard drive and put in a larger one, is that a new computer? If I move all my guts into a new case? Replace the motherboard and processor?

Vista isn't even 64-bit. I'm not about to buy a 32-bit OS for my next machine upgrade.
