...jobinterviewThursdayomg.
It IS possible.
...I won't get it, I'm sure.
My nails are horrible. ;_;
I need new shoes.
OMG. AM DOOMED. ...
...I should find my good clothes and wash them. Just to be safe. I washed them since I wore them, but cat and dog hair EVERYWHERE.
I might YET make my birthday. ^^;;;;;

Also, good luck, relax, you'll be fine.

Date: 2006-03-08 04:10 am (UTC)I gnaw on my fingers. I usually have bloody tears around the bases of my nails.
I do it more when I'm stressed.
Besides, any career advisor will tell women that looking good for an interview - which means all dolled up in the culturally appropriate manner - helps.
I can't do that, since I am entirely makeup illiterate and fashion blind, not to mention lacking clothes, but.

Date: 2006-03-08 04:18 am (UTC)'cause if you do I would be happy to help (as much as one can from across the country. This is best done with shopping trips, /but/.)

Date: 2006-03-08 05:38 am (UTC)At least for guys, most office work seems to favor Early Young Republican as the dress style.
Fingernails... and other stuff.
Date: 2006-03-08 12:29 pm (UTC)Clean, neat (not in your face) hair will probably substitute for makeup.
I'm fashion blind as well. Something that matches and looks just a little "dressy" is about what I'd figure the clothes should be.

Date: 2006-03-08 03:16 pm (UTC)Good luck on the job interview. Try not to sweat it, and if you have a department store nearby like, uh, well, here in the south we have Belks and Hechts and Dillards. Some place that sells clothes and make-up and shoes, etc; that sort of thing. Many times the counter salesperson is trained in how to do make-up and will give you a free 'make-over', explaining what goes where and which shades work best and why. The expectation is that you'll then buy some of their goods, naturally, but if you have time this afternoon you may want to check into it.
You might want to get your nails done, get the make-up lady to give you a 'make-over' and spend the afternoon pampering yourself so you go into the interview after an upbeat day. A positive attitude can help a great deal.
