Yeaaaah, so I'm a little late. Like a month This log was a pain; there are pieces missing still, since my connection suxored and I had to splice like four different files including one AIM log where someone sent me some of what I missing. (Thanks. >_<) So I was bad and lazy and didn't do my usual OOC stuff trimming. Hopefully it's okay. If not, I can edit it later. Lazy Leti!
Storyteller guesses not. *chuckles* "Okay, you've got about 3-5 days in Yane after your meeting with Ulito Swan to plan and recuperate for the journey. The Sword, in and of itself, is not giving out major hints any more, other than "Further west" and, you think, a little bit south."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis is good for now.
Storyteller says "Your next scheduled stop, I believe, was Chiaroscuro, and from there, skipping Paragon to head to the Lap."
<<OOC>> Kanfi is definitely all for skipping Paragon.
Storyteller says "You have a few other options at this point, though. The season is currently getting towards the end of Ascending Wood, which means that you'll be moving towards Descending Wood and even Ascending Air-- the end of fall and into winter-- soon. From there, it will be increasingly hard to navigate the immense jut of land between An-Teng/the "Southwest" and the rest of the South. As well, the Flame Fleet of the Realm steps up patrols in winter due to increased activity of malicious spirits, and there's no way to avoid their territory by ship."
Storyteller says "On the other hand, should you desire to maintain your present course, there's always overland through tribal territory and jungle to reach An-Teng, should it prove necessary."
Storyteller says "Ulito is as anxious-- more, truly-- than you are to see her father restored, but she does have alternate advice."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "Make it hard, why don't you?"
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "Don't encourage him."
Storyteller says "Although she is not personally a loremaster and the Varang is not the place to set up a meeting, by going south through the Djala tribelands, you can reach an ancient shrine from the Shogunate that was dedicated to harmonious interaction with Flame. Although the Varang itself is a Realm client-state, neither they nor the Realm know of this shrine; the principles by which the Dragon-Blooded attempted to exert some control over the Courts of the Seasons in the absence of the Solars were of interest to the Court of Orderly Flame, and so they occupied and hid it."
Storyteller says "Ulito knows that one of the Garuda Bird sages of the Orderly Flame should be still cataloging the lore there; not only is the bird learned, but the shrine itself may hold a key to getting a better idea of where the blade is taking you."
Storyteller says "Unfortunately, it's a long trip, and the Djala lands are not safe, even for Solars; it is definitely Lunar territory of the less savory sort."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "And this would take us how many days out of our way?"
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "The place is about 2-3 weeks journey to the south and east, plus time spent with loremastery and ceremony, plus return time. Not counting "incidents" on the way."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "Oy."
Storyteller says "On the other hand, Ulito knows that the Gold Faction of the Sidereals have a base to the Southwest of Chiaroscuro (directly south of Paragon, but that's not particularly a good port for y'all to move in."
Storyteller says "It's more in your direction, and the Sidereals are more likely to be able to tell -something- about the sword."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden is not going to be for any month+ delays in the journey.
Storyteller says "But Ulito doesn't really _know_ the Gold Faction very well. She knows that they're pro-Solar, but other than that, they've made no actual contact with her or the Court of Orderly Flame, other than what has been required in their Heavenly Duties."
Storyteller says "Furthermore-- well, have you guys told her you were initially hired by Ahlat, or are you keeping that close to the vest?"
<<OOC>> Kanfi wasn't planning on mentioning it.
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "Hrm."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "PM doesn't consider herself hired so she's not likely to mention it unless the topic of how they got started on this trip comes up."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "On the other hand, if it DOES come up, she's not going be at all adverse to mentioning it."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "I'm sensing consensus on the 'no-tell' idea here."
Storyteller says "Okay. Then all the rest she has to say is that she's generally known the Sidereals to be sneaky, complex, and manipulative-- and those were the ones she liked."
<<OOC>> Kanfi considers his clients generally classified information. It's bad for business otherwise.
Storyteller says "So that's five different options. Go to An-Teng directly by ship now; continue to Chiaroscuro and thence to the Lap and then points onward if necessary; go to the Shrine of Heated Negotiations With The Virtuous Fires; go to the Sidereals."
Storyteller says "You've got 3-5 days, as I said, to mull it over, and if you have any questions, Ulito -is- older than the Realm itself. She may have quite a bit to tell you, if needed."
<<OOC>> Kanfi is in favor of whatever means we're not trying to take over Harborhead at the moment.
<<OOC>> Kanfi says, "In other words, he'll follow the group."
Storyteller says "Why don't I set the scene, and you guys can discuss it amongst yourselves."
Storyteller says "Would you guys prefer to be back on ship, in Liu's private wagon, or in private rooms set aside for you by Ulito?"
<<OOC>> Liu says, "You mean *gasp* In Character!?"
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "Ship?"
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Oh, let's hang out at Ulito's. The closer Diamond and Kanfi stay to the hot girls, the more likely they are to get laid, relax a little, and quit worrying us to death."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis is good with either.
<<OOC>> Kanfi says, "AHAHAHAHAHA I'm gonna get some! Unless Ulito looks annoyed that I'm flirting. Then I'll cut it out. And just flirt with HER."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "Okay, Ulito's, then."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden tells Kanfi his partner is dead. :p
<<OOC>> Kanfi cries! And rolls to disbelieve.
<<OOC>> Liu says, "LOL"
Ulito's house is a sanctum, and thus unusual on the inside. There are really five aspects to it; the desert-scene "meeting hall" that you were shown in before; a dojo; a false-front for the theoretical admiral whose house this supposedly is; Ulito's private rooms, which, no, Kanfi, you haven't seen yet, and a grand, formal meeting-hall in the Old Realm style. Since this meeting hall is only rarely in use, it is an excellent place to have conversations; there is plenty of room to go without being overlooked.
The Flame Ducks are -not- servants, for all they helped during the beginning. It is somewhat unusual at first, but Ulito has salamanders to bring the food and drink. Unfortunately, they are incapable of bringing cold food or beverages, but the heavily spiced, hot tea and roast meats are delicious. The four of you have a table all to yourself.
Diamond Borealis is seated at one end, his chair pushed back on its rear legs. He picks up a bit of roasted meat with his fingers and takes an enthusiastic bite. "I don't think it wise to mess with the Sidereals. Ulito's right about them; sneaky and manipulative. And I'm uncomfortable with taking a month and a half detour down to this Shrine. It sound worth investigating later, but Harborhead needs settling. That leaves us with what?" He looks around to his circle.
Phoenix Maiden nods to Diamond as she enjoys her meal. "We have to keep going; we've been following the sword well enough." She shrugs. "I think we're best off continuing on the boat."
Liu stretches her arms above her head, fanning her fingers out theatrically. Two distinct popping noises are heard. She cocks her head to the side. "Winter might be a bit hard over the mountains. When are we crossing? We can follow the coast, I guess, but doesn't the sword tug South a little?" She looks at Kanfi.
Kanfi wraps his hands around the mug of tea, sipping at it idly. "It does," he nods, "so we're going to have to do some overland traveling anyway. And what about navy patrols?"
Phoenix Maiden peers at Kanfi. "Are navy patrols a threat to us if we're not making ourselves obvious?"
Diamond Borealis licks the succulent grease of the meat from his fingers. "Chiaroscuro and then south from there strikes me as viable. We may even find something interesting there."
Kanfi shrugs, and licks a drop of sweet, spiced tea from his upper lip. "No idea. I don't travel by ship much. Traveling overland is fine by me, though."
Phoenix Maiden's finger traces arcs across the table as she ponders. "Speed is important, though. Can we make as good of time overland?"
Liu dabbles a finger in her tea, fidgeting a bit. "We'd make better time if we left my folks behind. But they could always watch out behind us, and send us messages to let us know if we are being obvious. Or if we missed anything. I just... " Liu looks a little lost for a moment. "But speed is important."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "By the by, you don't have to keep the circus around if you don't want to, Liu; they're just there so you have the option of using them if need be."
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Yes, I know, and thanks. That's why I'm still trying to leverage them as eyes-and-ears, and not just leave them behind. *grins* My Allies! Mine!"
"As good? No. But easier to avoid naval patrols." Diamond eats another hunk of meat, tearing the succulent dishe from the main body of it. He chews it in a contemplative fashion. "There are spells to speed up that sort of thing. Perhaps Ulito could help me research one."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "She might be able to help you with elementals, but remember that Sorcery was not bestowed by the gods; it was discovered by Brigitte."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "Point"
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Do you have Summon Elemental?"
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis does not.
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Blast. If you had, Ulito-- while not being much -personal- use outside of the Flame-- might have been able to put you in touch with some of the Courts to make the working of such a spell "legal"."
Kanfi frowns. "How much time, exactly, would taking a ship shave off our traveling time?" He turns the cups thoughtfully in his hands.
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Basic ship speed is about 4-5 times faster than walking or going by caravan."
Phoenix Maiden nods agreeably. "By ship it is."
Storyteller chuckles. Oh well. :) Closes that scene, then, unless anyone has anything to add, and we can move on to either planning for your voyage, if you've got something special in mind, or straight on to Chiaroscuro.
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden has no particularly special plans.
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Are we going to separate from the Circus, thus booking passage on our own, but not being held to their travel plans? If so, I would like to arrange that they keep Liu apprised, somehow, of anything involving the impending-but-hopefully-not-yet Harborhead revolution, more children exploding, any unusual movement of Realm troops, and... anything else anyone can think of? Messengering isn't too hard to arrange, is it?"
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Oh- yes, that's a good point."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "What's the plan on Liu's circus and the merchant they were traveling with?"
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "Any rumors of Solars wandering around. >_<"
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "If we can travel just as fast to Chiaroscuro with them, I see no reason to leave them."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "You can via ship, yes, although you can leave earlier if you book passage on a new vessel."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "But any land movement will be slowed."
<<OOC>> Liu says, "I propose that we go ahead and leave as soon as possible, booking passage on a new ship."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "Sounds good."
<<OOC>> Kanfi nods.
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis is down with that.
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Not a one. *Wishes for Yuushi-Hime*"
<<OOC>> Kanfi says, "None."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden peers?
<<OOC>> Kanfi misses Sidel and his 5 in Sailing.
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "Sorry, no sailing."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Big storms-- lots of big storms-- on the way to Chiaroscuro."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Hmm. Everyone give me Perception + Awareness, then."
<<OOC>> Kanfi says, "Roll Per + Awareness."
<ROLL> Phoenix Maiden rolls 5 dice: <5 6 6 9 10> for 3 successes.
Storyteller says "Alrighty. In the middle of one of the worst storms-- the captain has had the mast lowered and all sails banked and is hoping just to ride out the fury of some unpleasant wind-dragon-- all four of you hear the oddest thing from above deck, where only a few, fearful and unfortunate sailors should be scurrying about. Strange, beautiful flute music that seems to be carried on the wind."
Storyteller [to Liu; Diamond Borealis;]: You two hear it slightly differently; the flute music seems to be CARRYING the wind.
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "Can I make a Lore or Occult role to figure out what's going on?"
Storyteller [to Diamond Borealis]: Hmm. Int + Lore.
<ROLL> Diamond Borealis rolls 8 dice: <1 2 5 7 8 8 9 9> for 5 successes.
Storyteller [to Diamond Borealis]: Nice. That's a Storm Flute, the literally wind instrument played by "younger" members of the Aerial Legions-- like drummer boys and fifers.
Storyteller [to Diamond Borealis]: This one isn't a battle call; it's more of a sharp, marching tune.
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "And...any clues as to how I can use that info?"
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Well, the fluting -does- seem to be coming from on deck, or somewhere near it."
Liu is ever curious, and braves the storm to scuttle out of the cabin. She employs various monkey-like poses and grips on the side-railing and other semi-stationary items to keep from being pitched off the ship as it rolls in the choppy waves.
Storyteller [to Liu]: Dex + Ath, diff 3. 2 point stunt. :)
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Ohkaaay..."
<ROLL> Liu rolls 9 dice: <1 3 3 4 5 6 6 8 10> for 3 successes.
<<OOC>> Liu says, "GAH!"
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "Dude."
<<OOC>> Liu shakes the dice
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "At least you got 3?"
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "THey are not very friendly dice this time, it seems."
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Yeah, but I should have looked like, super-phenomenal doing that. Stupid dice. ;-)"
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Eh, maybe better not to be super crazy monkey girl all the time. Gets kinda obvious."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden laughs.
Storyteller [to Liu]: You duck and dodge and weave about. Most of the sailors don't even notice you; the storm is just too hard, and you're not actually in anyone's way. Off towards the bow, in virtually no-man's land where the ship is bucking and tossing too great for any save an Exalt like yourself-- or some other unknown being-- to stand is... well. A little girl. It takes a moment for you, but even through the storm she looks oddly familiar. In a few seconds, despite the blue skin, cat's eyes, and wavy white hair, you realize why. To your great shock, just like Ulito Swan did before her transformation, this little girl looks like -you-. Thin, but unlike Ulito, she's of a height with you. She's dancing on a puff of blue white air, circling around the bow and playing her flute; occasionally, she peers off into the storm and over the horizon.
Diamond Borealis makes his way toward the deck. He finds Liu has beaten him out there. He shakes his head at her apparently reckless swinging about. He has a loop of rope with him, tying it to his waist. He keeps the loops of it in his other hand. He looks around for somewhere to tie it off before trying to follow the flute music. "Liu! Where did you go?" He yells, knowing the words are lost in the wind.
<<OOC>> Liu says, "If the Sailors are mostly occupied, it might be worth my while to employ Graceful Crane Stance, using Personal Essence. Not as good as the Sail charm that gives you sea legs, but would keep me from having to make rolls, and possibly botch and be thrown directly into the mouth of a shark."
Phoenix Maiden, below decks, looks at Kanfi. "I don't want to follow them out there. Do you think we should?"
Storyteller [to Diamond Borealis]: Do you want to go slow, moderately fast, or do you want to try to keep up with Liu?
<<OOC>> Liu says, "LOL"
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "Slow and steady wins the race."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "And Liu, yes, you can do that; they're pretty damn preoccupied with the storm. Lots of Peripheral Essence being flung about will garner their attention, but other than that..."
Storyteller [to Diamond Borealis]: Dex + Athletics, diff 1. Valor can apply if necessary; going slow I'll take as the equivalent of a 1 point stunt, and because of the rope, even if you fail, you're not going to pitch over the edge.
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, ".oO(Note he made no guarantees about botches.)"
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis will use valor
<ROLL> Diamond Borealis rolls 8 dice: <1 1 2 3 4 4 9 10> for 3 successes.
Storyteller [to Diamond Borealis]: You're coastal clear. :) You can even walk across deck at normal walking speed. She's a blue water trader, so Liu gets at least 1 pose in with the strange little girl before you'll have a chance to catch up.
Kanfi grimaces at his sister and glances towards the door. "I think they'll be fine. How much help do you think we'll be if we fall overboard?"
Storyteller [to Kanfi]: Plus there's also that pretty caravan guard going to Chiaroscuro on holiday who needs comforting in the cabin next to yours, eh?
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis lets Liu pose.
Liu sputters indignantly a little, half pissed that there's some mystic little chit doing something with the Storm and the Ship, and half pissed that people keep using her face. She straightens her spine, releasing her grip on the side-rail, and takes a deep breath of salt-spray air, willing her limbs to stay where she places them and not let herself be knocked about by the squall. She scuttles on all fours towards the little girl, intent on holding her down and making her explain all of this.
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "Hrm. I sincerely doubt PM's ever really been swimming."
<<OOC>> Liu says, "ergh, straightens her spine then scuttles on all fours... eh, yeah, it works."
Phoenix Maiden shudders. "I like to think I could hang on, but I'd hate to find out I was wrong."
<<OOC>> Liu says, "also that was not an attack... just a rather quick forward motion... *big bright grin to StoryTeller*"
Storyteller <to Liu> chuckles.
Storyteller ponders for a second.
Storyteller [to Liu]: You realize that she's not actually on the bow itself, but on a puff of air above it and sometimes -off- of it, right?
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Gotcha."
Since you're not really attacking, the girl puffs back, buoyed by her windsteed, to slightly further off and away from the bow. She gives a clear, silver-bell laugh, quite audible over the storm, and shakes a scolding finger at you, a sparkle of mischief barely contained by a late attempt to appear serious in her eyes. Her piping becomes slightly less and the storm -begins- to calm, but just a little bit-- it's still pouring and blowing hard.
Storyteller [to Diamond Borealis]: Give Liu one more pose, then pose before I pose the wind-girl's response.
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "Sure."
Storyteller [to Kanfi; Phoenix Maiden;]: Are you two definitely not coming back on deck?
Liu rolls her eyes exaggeratedly, and sets her hands on her hips, giving the storm-girl a good glare. Then she pantomimes standing on a ship in a calm sea, and moves her arms and fingers to mimic gentle waves and steady wind. Then she cocks her head as if to say "How about it?"
<<OOC>> Kanfi says, "Nope. I'll probably just fall overboard."
<<OOC>> Storyteller grins. The benefits of Perfect Charms.
Diamond Borealis makes it to where Liu and the spirit are. His hat held tight atop his head. "Liu!" He's a little worried she might set the elemental off and make the storm worse. Though it appears that the opposite happens. He starts to open his mouth to call to the member of the Aerial Legion, and instead simply waves his sodden hat. "Ahoy!" He puts a manic grin on his face. And makes sure the rope is doubly secure.
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden will go on deck only if they don't come back reasonably soon, so definitely not on deck now.
Gently Admonishing Frost steps down on tip-toes onto the sprit of the bow and blinks at Liu. She's cheating, of course; the puff is still holding her up. Still, given the strange ability shown this "mortal", she can't help but show off. She walks down the narrow spar of wood, toe to toe until she's within a few feet of Liu, still playing her flute, though the piping sound has become a little mocking, a little challenging, and the storm is growing worse again.
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "30 minute warning"
Liu narrows her eyes, curiosity mixed with more than a little frustration indeed making her a bit reckless. She's probably underestimating the little spirit because she looks like a little girl, but a challenge is a challenge... unless Diamond stops her, Liu climbs onto the bow-sprit after the little girl, preparing to demonstrate some fancy footwork.
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Ahkies. I'll try to wrap this up quick; meanwhile, is everyone okay for this upcoming... argh. this upcoming weekend is Christmas Weekend, isn't it?"
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Yeah, I'll be out of town, not very reliable network connectivity."
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden says, "I'm fine for it anyhow, more or less, though Christmas itself..."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Hmm. I'll plot things out as best I can, then post to my LJ."
<<OOC>> Kanfi can find a time relatively easily. I don't celebrate.
Diamond Borealis watches Liu carefully. But he can't help but smile at her bravado. "She's an elemental, Liu. Don't forge that One of the Aerial Legion!" He calls to his circle mate, shifting his weight with the motion of the deck to stand upright.
Gently Admonishing Frost dances around Liu for a moment and trills briefly on her flute-- before setting it midair to "play" itself. "What manner of spirit are -you-?" she asks in an oddly unnatural bell-tone. "I see you're wearing the fashionable seeming!"
<<OOC>> Kanfi says, "It's fashionable to look like Liu!"
<<OOC>> Kanfi says, "I'll have to remember that."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "Life is so much easier when you just relax and wear practical clothing"
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Spending 14 motes on Graceful Reed Dancing. Argh. I can't fit that all into Personal. Some of that's going to have to come from Peripheral... but I'll suppress my banner by spending MORE ESSENCE. Muahaha."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "The benefits of being a Night. *laughs*."
<ROLL> Storyteller rolls 5 dice: <3 4 6 8 9> for 2 successes.
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Okay. Pose the dance, then I'll award stunt."
Liu tilts her head towards where the sun should be in the sky, and draws His Light down into the fibers and sinews of her muscles. She gives the air sprite a wicked smile, and steps into a quick, lively jig to the tune being played on the flute. It's a dance about sea-sickness, cold chilling to the bones; a dance about the fear of the Ship just breaking apart beneath your feet. She stares hard into the girl's eyes as she dances, long thin limbs curling through the notes of the flute.
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "Hmm, nice. 2 points. Get 4 motes of essence back. :) And roll it! :)"
<ROLL> Liu rolls 10 dice: <3 4 4 4 5 7 7 8 8 8> for 5 successes.
<<OOC>> Liu says, "And I misread what the Dancing Charm does... I can purchase extra successes if I want them... though I didn't exactly make clear in the pose what the purpose of this is."
<<OOC>> Storyteller says, "So you're buying how many successes, then? :)"
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Well, I guess I did. It's mostly just to say "Hey, ease up, willya?" I'll buy 4 more successes."
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Which means only spending 8 motes, which does fit into Personal, but... agh, I should get out pennies to count this with. :)"
<<OOC>> Storyteller chuckles and pats.
Storyteller [to Liu]: Your dance is wonderful and terrible; it would haunt the minds of generals and put envy in the hearts of the Fae Folk. Gently Admonishing Frost frowns at your incredible grace and the emotional power of your dance, and the storm begins to slacken. She stands near new, and her voice takes on a rumble like thunder in waiting. "Who are you? What are you?"
Diamond Borealis watches patiently from where he stands. He is curious to see how the Night will handle this with the Spirit.
Liu flips backwards, gripping the bowsprit with her hands as she strikes a Stag pose with her legs, toes pointing towards the girl in a vaguely threatening way. She yells back up at the sprite, "I'm Liu, and you're wearing my face. Now stop all this storming!"
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Not exactly the most inspired of speeches. She really does do a lot better with physical stuff. *grin*"
Gently Admonishing Frost looks shock. "I'm wearing -your- face? But the Daimyo of Masks said that it was found..." She looks confused-- and the storm is starting to slacken and grow calm. "How can that be? It was supposed to be -new- this season!" she wails, and begins to run over the side, out towards the more... vigorous... parts of the storm; but at least, it seems, the storm is following her.
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis notes he hates that Bitch - The Daimyo of Masks I mean.
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Damned face-pirates. I best get royalties for this."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "She got the better of my Zenith in the other game."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis says, "The only NPC to do so. She's going to get a righteous solar beat down one of these days. *ahem*"
<<OOC>> Storyteller appears innocent. Figures now is the time to stop, unless you guys want to do "Telling Kanfi and PM what happened" moment real quick?
<<OOC>> Liu says, "Nah. Liu's not going to be in a mood to talk... stormy mood for her for the rest of the voyage. Pun intended. People should not wear her face."
<<OOC>> Storyteller chuckles quietly, and thinks it's too bad the other two didn't come up on deck. Oh well. That plot hook for later. ^_^
<<OOC>> Kanfi says, "When someone tells him, Kanfi will probably make a joke about wanting to be fashionable..."
<<OOC>> Diamond Borealis would find Liu not wanting to discuss it and be reticent himself. Just a 'Liu chased off a storm spirit'.
<<OOC>> Phoenix Maiden will be glad the storm isn't tossing her stomach around and no one went overboard!
