Brian's game log 1, part 2

Brian says, “The quartering of the lid pops up, three isosceles right triangles. There is a shimmering non-space of Elsewhere within, that whirls and whirls around inside the box. The dragon-covered sides pop out, forming a pointed cross. The elsewhere distortion forms a perfect sphere, and white jade spirals out of the opened sides, turning the entire thing into a disc. The swirl slowly begins to fade, and six small, roughly Hearthstone-sized ... things... drop out.

the first is a concave crystal lens, surrounded by a tiny, interlocking frame of adamant with little clicking gears which shift when held, periodically clicking new adamant sublenses over the top of the core lens for focus.

The second is a glowing verdant cube the size of a mans thumb.

The third is a small device made of a set of four silvery pumps with small, broad a accordion-expansion tubes on each side

The fourth is a perfect sphere consisting of orichalcum bands that rotate slowly, making nigh-imperceptible clicking noises.

The fifth is a simple sprocket is crafted from soulsteel and weeps soot.

The final... thing... is a starmetal orb has runes that call upon the design weavers carved all over its thumb-sized surface.

All of them thrum with power, very similar to the Hearthstones that they look like. Intuitively, you sense that they were made to serve Exalts and yearn to do so again; they may be attuned to like an artifact, but do not require mote commitment; indeed, they will supply motes like a hearthstone, in addition to whatever else they do.”

<<OOC>> Brian says "Also, :P"

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades says "Oh hell, an accordion? Must be Abyssal."

Teyv losing any caution to the sheer joy at such treasures, dives in and begins to handle and examine them. Will this finally be a hearthstone that can power his medical bag?

Bennu leans forward, eyes glinting gold as she examines the hidden treasures. "I doubt," she murmurs, as she tries to divine their natures, "The Realm ever cracked this case, indeed." She glances to the Twilight. "Recognize anything?" she asks him.

Mahir flicks his wrist again, as his massive powerbow vanishes back to Elsewhere. As he nears the devices lying on the ground, he sends a trickle of essence to his visor, engaging his Sight as he bends down to examine each device in turn, not touching them.

Teyv studies each in turn, as he can get them away from any others who are likewise examining them, to try and determine the aspect of each item.

Brian [to Mahir]: Perception + Occult + 2 stunt + 2 bonus from your Essence Sight.

Reed drops off the ceiling and glides down to land on the Twilight's shoulder. He, too, leans in to peer at the things.

Brian [to Teyv]: Are you using any of the thaumatechnician's tools to help you?

<<OOC>> Mahir says "Heh. We need to teach our friend Teyv about "caution". But Mahir is perhaps a bit *too* cautious at times."

Teyv [to Brian]: Yes

Brian [to Reed]: Per + Occult + 1 stunt + 2 bonus from visors.

<<OOC>> Mahir says "Can I lore instead of occult? Not that either of them is that great...."

Brian [to Teyv]: Ok. I'm going to let you do Int + Occult + 1 stunt + 2 bonus from having kickin' tools.

<<DICE>> Reed rolls 10 dice: <1 3 4 4 4 5 8 8 9 10> for 5 successes.

Two Luminous Blades relaxes her stance. "What are those things? And why would they be stored like that?"

Teyv says, “Hmm, intere...oh now is that ever..." Teyv mumbles, peering through the magnifying glasses at the objects.”

Brian [to Bennu]: Perception + Occult +1 stunt.

Brian [to Mahir]: You can use Lore, but with +1 difficulty.

<<DICE>> Teyv rolls 13 dice: <2 2 2 4 5 6 6 7 9 10 10 10 10> for 10 successes.

<<OOC>> Brian says "... Twilights."

Ashan lets his gaze fall where it will among the...things. They're nothing he recognizes immediately -- hearthstones but not, obviously magitech but not used in Heaven. A puzzle within a puzzle, then, and one he wishes he'd paid better attention in his classes to solve.

<<OOC>> Ashan says "I think the orphan likes him playing to his strengths."

Teyv says, “This is much easier than punching Fae.”

<<OOC>> Mahir says "Yeah, my roll is probably irrelevant now."

<<DICE>> Mahir rolls 10 dice: <1 5 6 6 6 7 8 8 10 10> for 7 successes.

Brian <to Ashan> laughs. "That stunt ALSO qualifies for Int, or Perc if it's better, + occult + 2 dot stunt.

<<OOC>> Mahir says "That's against Lore."

<<DICE>> Bennu rolls 5 dice: <3 4 5 5 8> for 1 success.

Brian [to Mahir]: Not entirely. There are six things.

<<OOC>> Ashan says "WP/WP."

Brian [to Bennu]: They're glittery with Essence.

<<OOC>> Ashan says "Do I get the bonus for having native Essence sight?"

Brian will total up everyone's successes and divide them among the six Things.

Brian [to Ashan]: Yarrr. +2.

<<DICE>> Ashan rolls 13 dice: <1 1 1 1 4 5 6 6 7 7 7 8 10> for 6 successes.

Brian says, “5+10+7+1+6=29/6=4 5/6 each; I'll be kind and put the one that's actually 4 rather than 5 on the easiest one to figure out. Second.”

Brian says, “The adamant device is a lens, which uses sympathetic magic to its nature to attune to the eyes of the wielder. Once placed in a proper hearthstone socket and attuned, the wielder gains 4 motes of extra respiration per hour, and any one tick of Aim automatically gives the full +3 dice to accuracy.”

Brian says, “The jade cube supplies 8 motes per hour, but its special requires the will of the wielder (1 wp) to activate. Once activated, it provides the wielder's Essence x2 in soak, against bashing, lethal, and aggravated. Even more, it adds that amount to the highest source of hardness the wielder has, or provides that much hardness on its own.”

<<OOC>> Mahir goes off to read the rules on Aim....

Brian says, “The silver pump will, when attuned, pump moonsilver liquid back and forth in sympathetic rhythm to its wielder's heart. It provides 6 motes per hour, and every time the wielder sleeps, heals all bashing damage and half of all lethal damage (round up); but it will not be able to heal the other half (they must heal naturally or through other magic, like Teyv's.)”

Brian says, “The orichalcum-banded sphere provides 6 motes per hour, and will give the wielder the ability to stun on hit. This stun must be delivered by Martial Arts or Melee, but each stun causes a +1 penalty to Speed per hit, to a max of +3, on the target's next action. Alternatively, it may cumulatively reduce the targets MDV by one with but a touch (to a maximum of -3) for three actions as lightning jolts through his body. This power is a Crippling effect.”

Brian says, “The soulsteel sprocket provides 8 motes per hour as well, and has a second, terrifying ability when activated with a point of willpower. The bearer takes an unsoakable level of aggravated damage, as barbed soulsteel worms crawl out of his palm. The worms drip acidic venom from their maws and consume metals and minerals. For each pound of material consumed (as a miscellaneous Speed 5 action), the owner of the cog gains a point of Stamina for a scene, to a limit of (Essence) points. Should the worms be attacked, they will only defend themselves unless their attackers have metal weapons or armor to consume. The worms die at the end of the scene.”

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades says "I can live without the worms."

Brian says, “Finally, the starmetal orb provides 8 motes per hour, and causes a temporary astrological curse upon any who dare to attack the attuned. Pattern Spiders recognize the orb as bearing the blessing of some unknowable first cause-- it might be a blessing given from the the Firstborn, the prototype of all Pattern Spiders, and will give the bearer the option to inflict that curse, for 4 motes per time. The Curse depends on the essence of the wielder.

2-3: Whenever the attacker tries to use a Virtue for the remainder of the scene, treat that Virtue as if it were rated at 1.

4-5: The attacker suffers a -2 wound penalty for one scene.

6+: For one scene, all actions that use Essence require an additional mote to activate. For mortals, they must spend an additional point of Willpower when spending any.”

Brian says, “Each will serve as the geomantic equivalent of a hearthstone for powering your armors, as well.”

Brian says, “Adamant Lens 2, Jade Cube = 4, Moonsilver Pump = 3, Orichalcum Sphere = 3, Soulsteel Sprocket = 4, Starmetal Orb = 4.”

<<OOC>> Bennu has no clue, because they're all sparkly.

Brian says, “There's enough so that everyone can take one.”

Teyv reaches for the starmetal orb, and says "dibs" and looks at Bennu, as if asking permission.

<<OOC>> Reed likes the sphere, because he has no intention of taking damage.

<<OOC>> Brian chuckles.

Bennu shrugs in Teyv's direction. "If you tell us what the rest do," she says, with chuckle.

<<OOC>> Mahir says "If I abort Aim to flurry, I get the +3 dice on just one arrow, or the whole flurry?"

Reed hops off Teyv's shoulder and onto the floor, flowing back into his mortal form as he does so. "The lens seems made for an archer," he says, nudging it with a long pale finger. "I do not know about the rest."

Teyv points at the lens contraption, "magic scope, does anybody here use a bow?" as he looks at Mahir.

<<OOC>> Mahir says "Of course, taking even a single tick to Aim kinda messes with my whole speed demon schtick."

Mahir nods, "It does indeed seem to be a reasonable assumption, as he picks up the lens to examine it more closely."

<<OOC>> Brian says "I... don't actually know. Ashan, do you remember how much of an Aim a flurry gets?"

<<OOC>> Ashan says "You mean including it in one?"

<<OOC>> Mahir says "No, taking an Aim action and then following with a flurry instead of a single shot."

<<OOC>> Brian says "Nah. You aim, then you flurry- right."

Teyv points at the cube "that gives you extra toughness, so perhaps for somebody who isn't in battle armor?"

<<OOC>> Ashan says "Pretty sure it benefits all actions in the flurry, particularly if said flurry is magical"

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades wonders if Exalted has taunts.

<<OOC>> Brian says "I note that extra Aim can be used by meleeists, too."

<<OOC>> Mahir says "I suspect that even if I don't use the lens that often, it'll still be more useful to me than any of the others, though."

<<OOC>> Brian says "I wrote some in Presence!"

<<OOC>> Brian says "Also, the soak stacks, so it can be beneficial to anyone."

Teyv picks up the pump "and this heals you, well, it sort of heals you. Perhaps for somebody who wants to get hit a lot."

Brian [to Mahir]: Any of you can use it. Heck, Teyv can; it's even useful for attacks with sorcery spells.

<<OOC>> Ashan says "Teyv can't, actually."

Two Luminous Blades says, “The cube and the pump would both be useful for someone who is struck often.”

<<OOC>> Reed says "If one of the others is more useful to you, I can probably work Aim in."

<<OOC>> Ashan says "You can't Aim between Shape and Cast."

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades sighs at Brian, will need to up Presence now.

<<OOC>> Reed says "Though I was eyeing the sphere for myself."

<<OOC>> Mahir doesn't plan on ever getting *hit*, so it's going to invest heavily in Soak. The soulsteel is too creepy, the moonsilver is predicated on getting hit in the first place, Teyv took the Starmetal off the table, and I don't have melee or MA to stun with.

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades expects to be hit often.

Teyv says, “This sphere buffs your martial arts attack." looking around "does anybody like to get up close with enemies?”

<<OOC>> Reed says "The Starmetal one requries getting hit also, or at least attacked."

<<OOC>> Brian says "All of the soulsteel options were creepy. It could also be used to exchange out for a hearthstone one of youu guys has powering your armor."

Reed reaches out and plucks the sphere out of his Solar's hand. "Better me than you."

<<OOC>> Reed says "I don't believe I have a hearthstone at the moment, other than the Ignition Gem we brought back."

<<OOC>> Mahir says "That's a good point, actually. If someone else wants the lens, I could just slave the soulsteel into my CBA."

Teyv touches the gear with his boot, "this is the best of all. It generates worms, which eat stone and metal, and make you stronger. The worms erupting from your body won't hurt much at all for one attuned to combat."

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades hopes to be the tank...

Mahir picks up the soulsteel sprocket, and weighs it against the lens in his other hand. "You say these can be used as a hearthstone can? It will power my armor?"

Bennu raises an eyebrow and reaches to take the

<<OOC>> Bennu says "oops."

<<OOC>> Bennu says "Stupid enter"

Ashan nods. "I'm not sure where they're getting their Essence flow from, but it'll channel Essence in the same way. That one's the equivalent of a major Manse."

<<OOC>> Bennu says "Sigh, I hate this kind of thing. =p"

<<OOC>> Bennu says "So at this point, the starmetal and the soulsteel have actually been physically grabbed?"

<<OOC>> Reed says "Which one do you want? :) I'm easy."

<<OOC>> Brian chuckles. If you guys want, next time, I can put SIGNS OF FATE onto the various Loot so that Ashan can read precisely for whom it was intended.

<<OOC>> Mahir says "I have the soulsteel and the adamant in my hands, but haven't committed to either."

<<OOC>> Ashan laughs

<<OOC>> Teyv says "I took the starmetal for the essence regen, and it's the least pure-combat of them, to me."

<<OOC>> Brian says "Ashan, after all, is not just a Sidereal. He's a prophet."

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades says "And also the most evil."

<<OOC>> Reed says "I think Mahir has the lens also. I have the sphere, but if you'd like to take a look at it I'll pass it over."

<<OOC>> Teyv says "Though, if I was intended to take the pump, and then give it to people to help them heal, I can switch."

<<OOC>> Brian says "None of them were precisely intended."

<<OOC>> Brian says "I just picked stuff that looked useful."

Reed tosses the sphere back and forth between his hands, letting it catch the light. "If nothing else, this one is very shiny."

Bennu taps her fingers against the side of her armor, and raises an eyebrow in Reed's direction. "Mind if I look at that, Sorrowful Ivory Reed?" she asks. And Cult trained Solar or not, it -is- a question, addressed as if to at least a near equal.

Brian [to Reed]: One of the solars addressed you as an -equal-. That is literally a first.

Reed tosses the sphere in the air, and bats it towards the Zenith. If she can't catch it, she doesn't deserve it.

Reed [to Brian]: Mine addresses me as more than an equal, quite possibly because he is conscious of the areas in which he lacks experience.

Two Luminous Blades says, “The cube and the.. pump... are most useful to me. I expect I will be up close with opponents and probably hit a lot." She shrugs. "And doing a lot of hitting.”

Brian [to Reed]: I meant the other ones. Most of them think you're basically a more exotic Faithful Pia. They respect you for taking care of your absent-minded twilight, but it's sadly only partially disguised "Who's a good boy then?" sorts.

Reed picks up the pump and sets it on top of the cube, then stretches out on the floor to look at his tower from below. "I do not intend to be hit, but perhaps I can trade one for something more of use to me."

Reed [to Brian]: Oh, them. They're not important. I do have to work on Pia, though.

Brian [to Reed]: She's... well. She's a catgirl.

Reed [to Brian]: Because I did not promise not to talk to *her*. I wonder if she would like a mouse, or a roach?

Brian laughs.

Teyv says, “I can use the starmetal to power the band of regeneration in my bag. If a Fae eats one of your limbs, I will be able to grow it back. I'm not sure it applies to heads.”

Bennu [to Brian]: Are you going to require me to make a roll to catch it? =p

Reed says, “Very few things apply to heads. That is why I crush as many as possible.”

Brian [to Bennu]: Nope. It wants to be used. It wants to be useful. :(

Brian [to Bennu]: It hasn't been useful in a long... long... long... time. It will find a way to your hand.

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades says "That's only a little creepy."

Teyv says, “Hmm, I wonder if you lose a limb in battle form, and then transform into something smaller, if I can grow it back faster. Let's agree not to test that.”

Bennu snags the sphere out of the air and turns it in her hands. "Interesting," she murmurs. "I certainly never say no to hampering my enemies.

Ashan looks thoughtfully at the starmetal orb, then shrugs fluidly. "I fight at range," he says, "and try not to be hit." He nods politely to Mahir. "The lens would be useful to me, if you're not interested in it yourself."

Reed says, “That sounds like a wise thing to agree to, indeed. Dawn, have you a preference?”

Two Luminous Blades says, “The cube. Preventing damage is better than healing it after.”

Reed nods, and whisks the pump aside before flipping the cube towards the Dawn.

Mahir hands the lens off to Ashan. "I think that perhaps you will get more use from it than I, then, and unless someone else desires differently, I'll probably just slave this one to my armor," as he holds up the Soulsteel.

Brian [to Reed]: You have a shiny! It's already starting to beat in tune to your heart.

Reed rolls on his back and sets the little pump on his chest.

Two Luminous Blades grabs the cube as it goes through the air. She holds it close to her eyes and peers at it. "Pretty. I bet we'll be putting these items to use at our destination."

Brian [to Reed]: It's a sleepy little thing, like a cat in a perpetual sunbeam. It locks into the hearthstone socket and begins to beat, soothing, happy rhythms. It loves you. It will sleep on you, and in return, grant you its healing.

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades says "Is the soak bonus scene-long ?"

Bennu nods in satisfaction and tightens her fist around the orb, selecting one of the empty sockets in her armor.

<<OOC>> Brian says "It is."

Ashan takes the adamant lens with a smile of thanks and settles down to examine it more closely, flickers of blue shimmering through it as he harmonizes it with his Essence.

<<OOC>> Mahir says "If I put two stones in my armor, how difficult/time-consuming is it to switch which one is "active" and which one is powering the armor?"

<<OOC>> Brian says "One miscellaneous action. 5 seconds."

<<OOC>> Ashan says "I think it's a misc. action?"

Reed [to Brian]: I think I only have sockets on the bracers, but that's good enough.

Brian [to Bennu]: The sphere is delighted! It wriggles its way into the hearthstone socket. Bouncing around, its bands shimmering. It's READY. It's totally gonna SHOCK some dudes!

<<OOC>> Mahir says "So in "narrative time" it's a free instant, then. Wheee! (The soulsteel is marginally better regen, and who knows, maybe some day I meet some object that I want to destroy in a very arcane way for some reason."

Brian [to Ashan]: The lens is a crystal clear, precise entity. Once it begins to attune to you, you see the shimmers of faint crosshairs and circles surrounding everything in the room, with range markers and approximate movement rates. It is prepared to serve, and it will be dedicated.

Mahir sees that everyone is reasonably happy with their selections, and slips the sprocket into one of the empty sockets on his armor.

Brian [to Mahir]: Or when you want to be able to endure privation better.

<<OOC>> Mahir says "I love the idea of the superimposed range finders. ^_^"

Brian [to Mahir]: The cog ... is aware, in a sense. It's not as eager or happy as the others. It's got a deep rumble as it clicks and clicks in your hands, and it locks into place with a groan, not in protest, but acknowledgement. It circles, providing a steady flow of essence with only a few faint moans of the damned that only you can hear. It serves. It knows neither joy nor hatred... only service. It is bound to you, and will act without complaint, however you wish to use it.

Brian [to , Two Luminous Blades]: Tell me when you put the things in sockets.

Brian says, “er, that should include Teyv there.”

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades says "So... I just drop this in my armor and it's good?"

Teyv pulls the band of regeneration from his medical bag, and doesn't see anybody missing limbs, but then, just to try it out, clicks the starmetal into the socket.

Two Luminous Blades stares at the cubes for a moment and then slides them into the sockets in her armor.

<<OOC>> Bennu could cut someone's limb off if you want to experiment.

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades says "Head of Vecna."

<<OOC>> Ashan cracks up

Brian [to Two Luminous Blades]: You 'hear' a mental ... ... !!! The cube, you're CERTAIN, loves you. It loves you it loves you it loves you. It's kinda dumb. But it really loves you. It just needs will. Tell it when tell it when tell it wheeeeeennnnn. It will protect you. IT LOVES YOU MAN.

Brian [to Teyv]: The orb gives a polite little mental query, checks your physical well being, and pronounces itself satisfied... for now. It waits, with claws of fate, for any who would dare strike its owner.

<<OOC>> Reed suggests using Maduka Shin as a test subject.

<<OOC>> Reed says "Or perhaps a trainee."

Ashan has been quiet since he attuned to the lens, distracted by something, a nagging sensation of something out of place. But whatever it is, it seems to have caught his attention now -- or, more accurately, removed it from the proceedings. He's pale under the olive of his skin, the stars in his eyes abruptly prominent and brilliant, and when he speaks, there's something strange about his tone, almost _feminine_, as if Someone Else is speaking through him.

"It comes," he murmurs. "From the Court of Lapis, it rises, a thousand eyes and a thousand limbs and a thousand maws. Beware the sight of it, lest you be ensnared; beware the sound of it lest you be enthralled. And beware, beware, lest it not be found and slain, for the South will pay the price in blood and souls and chaos."

Two Luminous Blades winces a bit. "Augh. This cube. I thinks it is my companion."

<<OOC>> Ashan says "But is it weighted?"

Teyv says, “Mine didn't make me speak in tongues, did it?”

Mahir blinks and cocks his head slightly. "Well now. That was interesting."

Bennu eyes their Sidereal 'advisor', pausing in admiring the pretty orb, and shakes her head. "No," she says briefly. She leans over. "Ashan," she says. "Everything all right?"

Mahir says, “No, it did not. I suspect that this is something else entirely.”

Reed had nearly fallen asleep to the gentle pulsing of the pump, but opens one eye at the Sidereal's pronouncement. "How fortunate that we are headed that way," he says in a quiet, dry tone.

Two Luminous Blades stares at Ashan. "What just happened?"

Ashan blinks hard, and sits down abruptly, pale and shivering slightly. "I'll be all right," he says. "That wasn't an effect of...whatever this is. It happens sometimes. More often recently."

Teyv says, “I can examine you for brain tumors, or perhaps a little spirit has gotten lodged in your throat.”

<<OOC>> Brian and Teace are laughing out loud.

Two Luminous Blades says, “More often? How often is more often?”

Reed gives the Twilight a gentle kick. "The Loom speaks through him, and there is no cure. A restorative tea would be more useful."

Ashan turns to Two and Teyv, the stars in his eyes faded back to their normal level. "It's not a tumor or a possession," he says tiredly. "It's a prophecy, and I wish I could tell you more about it, but not even my sifu or my superiors understand why it happens to some of us."

Teyv says, “This has been a momentous hour. I say we take the Lunar's advice and get some restorative tea, and prepare for the journey to the south.”

Ashan nods gratefully to Reed. "That's what sifu usually tells me. And that I should eat more. At any rate, prophecies like this are almost always true."

Two Luminous Blades says, “So, it's true. Do we know what it's talking about? Thousand limbs, thousand maws?”

Reed says, “There is a surfeit of mice in the storerooms," he says, letting his eyes drift closed again. "If you like, I can find one for you." The prickly little Lunar's being awfully generous today-- must be the pump's influence.”

<<OOC>> Brian says "Aww."

Bennu contemplates. "Then we will make a point of finding, destroying, and preserving order." She nods imperiously. "Tea, rest, and preparations. Given ...omens, the sooner we leave... the better. In the morning everyone should be ready, by first light."

Ashan shakes his head. "I don't actually get any more information than I give," he says ruefully. "My guess would be a wyld beast of some kind, come up from the deep wyld at the lapis court's behest." He shivers slightly, his eyes distant, but no more prophecy seems forthcoming.

Two Luminous Blades hrms at Ashan, nods to Bennu.

Bennu continues after a moment, "Unless anyone has objections, I propose to travel via sorcery. Samun can transport us. It's not subtle, but it's faster than a march across the desert."

Mahir nods to Bennu and then turns to Ashan, "It would appear that Fate is confirming that we made the right choice of our field of battle, then, and it gives us some warnings about what we might expect when we get there."

Two Luminous Blades says, “I have no objections. I feel the sooner we arrive, the better. The... news... that Ashan brings us makes everything more urgent.”

<<OOC>> Brian says "Samun has Stormwind Rider. He can carry 75 people in what was termed, in the first age, a "Pimpin' Whirlwind Ride"."

<<OOC>> Brian says "(Generally appended "For a youngster," but. Different times, man. Different times)"

Teyv says, “A march across the desert does seem tedious.”

Ashan nods. "I can split the load with him if need be. Whether or not it is, I'll be ready at first light."

Reed shrugs. "I do not like it, but it is expedient."

Brian says, “Ok. We seem to be drawing down.”

<<OOC>> Mahir says "I'm going to borrow a Fivefold from Stores, since I can't think of anything 1-dot that would be of greater benefit in a combat subplot."

Brian says, “I'd like y'all to consider what, if any, cold iron weapons you want to bring. You don't HAVE to bring any; they are, effectively, obliteration sentences. Without them, or some other form of spiritual bane, the fae will reform eventually, but with them, they are so dead that if anything like a soul remains, it cannot be found, not in the Wyld or the Underworld. Whatever you bring will be Perfect, to your specifications, as per the rules in the core.”

<<OOC>> Mahir says "If I'm shooting with keyword Order, is there any point to Cold Iron beyond that?"

Brian says, “And, as Mahir did, take a look in various books to see if there is anything you want-- bodyguards, allies, artifacts, that sort of thing. Ping it off me, but be ready for whatever you want by next session.”

<<OOC>> Two Luminous Blades says "Can I turn my weapons into cold iron? :D"

Brian [to Mahir]: Order isn't automatically aggravated and aggravated doesn't automatically soul kill. So it depends on your purpose.

<<OOC>> Brian says "'Fraid not."

Brian says, “Everyone gets 5 experience.”
