An amusing anecdote...
So there's a linux box under construction sitting in the server room/tech
services office, which has big windows - the room, not the box - out into a
hallways.
One of the editors was walking by, and looks in. She stops. She stares.
She asks me if there's a problem with the computer. It looks like the matrix,
she says. I glance at it. Sure enough, it has a "The Matrix" screensaver
going, all funky green backwards japanese characters streaking down the screen.
She had to be reassured that we weren't being hacked, really.
