The minx and I got a package from her grandparents (maternal) which was full of stuff, including a Monopoly variant (which I find a bit dumb) of Cat-opoly. The changes to make it more feline are incomplete, and thus come off pretty rocky in the rules. The minx immediately exerted dice luck. Doubles, but not too many. Landing on "Catnip"/Free Parking only when there's money in there (I landed there twice when there was NO money). Buying up stuff. Getting out of Water/Jail via doubles and not having to pay (I had to pay)... When we had to quit for dinner, she had $1000 and some, plus properties, and I had $100 and some, plus two mortgaged properties... I did have the Boardwalk/Park Place equiv monopoly, though! (Thus the mortgaging.) So we wrapped up our stuff and will continue the game later. Maybe I can make a comeback.
The box smelled rather a bit of very old cat pee. It is now out in the garage, whew.
