Just finished Oblivion. Some thoughts.

First, the main quest is a bit /short/ - or it would be if it weren't for the interminable 'aid for Bruma' quest. I'm not sure if that's necessary, but it's interminable.

Second, there are WAY too many dungeons that are all the same. Oblivion Gate, Oblivion Gate, Oblivion Gate. RANDOM OBLIVION GATES MWAHAHA.
I am so sick of Oblivion Gates. After Morrowind, I never thought I'd be GLAD to see an undead dungeon.

Third, dude, that was it? The big boss fight?

All around: Good game.
Gameplay is... fairly solid, you know, once you install all the patches that fix the things Bethesda really should have evened out a bit more.

My money's on the sequel taking place in Summerset. There will, of course, be a sequel. If they know what's good for them, they'll stop taking the easy way out in world design and give us back our flipping levitation.
